Default Car going at about 2km!!!

Hi,for some reason just when i started my car up for about the 6th fuel tank today, when i press full throttle it goes not that fast only about 2km,it barely moves!!I think it could have something to do with the spur gear or other gear since my buggy is 4wd.When i manually spin the wheels the spur gear doesnt turn or that other turning thing on the engine doesnt turn also when it should.Whats wrong with my car?

"That other turning thing" lol.. Do you mean clutch bell? Well if you are pushing your car on the ground and the spur and pinion aren't spinning then mabey you broke something in the tranny take it apart and see if any of the gears are stripped or broken. Does your car rev up when you give it throttle and not go anywhere?

It can't be the spur since when he moves the wheels him self the spur doesn't spin. Either the axle pins broke..the shafts came disconnected, the pins didn't set right in the wheels or the tranny has a broken gear.

im thinking more along the lines that his flywheel nut may of come loose. I doubt its anything to do with the drivetrain. Also it would really help knowing what kinda car/buggy ortruck it is cause without that information its useless

ok,its a vh-x5 nitro buggy 4wd 1/10 scale, basically the same as a smartech winner pro only the rims and body is different though the engine and even chassy is the same. Also what is the nut on the flywheel, where is it???Also when i roll the car along the ground sometimes the spur gear and clutchbell spins and sometimes it just stays still.

The nut is inside the clutchbell. Ok when the wheels spin does your driveshafts? And your spur does not spin? Then it is definately in the tranny. Open it up look, in your manual then maybe you/we can diagnose your problem and you can learn more about your car too. And yes pics would help.

In another thread you were talking about the wheels not setting right on the hub....Did you buy new wheels? If so its possible that the inside of the wheel doesn't take the hex adapter? Look inside the wheel and does it look like theres a space for a pin to go in or a hex nut? Or mabey if you took off the old tires the hex adapters stuck to the old tires and you didn't realise they were still in there? You also said that when you tightend the wheel nuts the spur gear would spin and the tires wouldn't so I would check to make sure the pins or hex adapters are fitting into the wheel.

Yeh elite tux487 is spot on.I took it down to the lhs,and he said that i was missing a nut inside the wheel hub.It was because i took out the wheel to see why my front wheel was wobbely, and i must have accidently lossed my nut or hex from the wheel hub. Thanks you guys for helping me.This car is a cheap car i have had 2 spurs strip, front wheel came off when i was just driving normally which i lost my dogbones and strppied a part near the front wheel,i have had 3 glowplugs foul, must not have much luck and it doesnt help that its a cheap car.Whats your opinion on my car,its exactly the same as a smartech winner pro,any opinions?

If your having fun then its good. The quality of the car itself probably isn't as good compared to more expensive name brand vehicles but like i said if your having fun then who cares?

What do you mean you have to wipe it off? Is there fuel residue on there? Somewhat like soot. If there is you are running too rich.
