Today i finally finished my x ss, dont have reverse because im waiting for a servo linkage set to come in, but i fabricated one to hold the tab in place and ran my first tank through today! Even though it was just on idle it got my heart pumping, cant wait till im running it around the yard!

I finished mine a week ago clutch was annoying till i got the hang of it. Now i can do it no problem. Wait till you break the truck in, its a blast I love mine.

Yes, this is my first truck. I just had it running today and yesterday and its almost fully broken in and so far its a blast. When I put the clutch together at first i couldnt figure it out but when i did i was able to find a good way to put it together. There were several parts that werent very easy but nothing that couldnt be done

The experience is well worth it. For me it was one thing to buy a new vehicle bring it out to the field or a buddies house and have it work. But to build it myself and put it all together and have it work brings alot more joy for some reason.

You get more satisfacttion if you build it yourself and then hear it running the next day.
