HL Tiger, painting PINK???
Hey Guys,
I received my HL Tiger I yesterday. I definetly want to make some mods to increase durability and usage, but don't want to go all the way to scale (it's still a toy, I have family, ......).
I was discussing with my wife what color scheme I should put on, and just for fun she said PINK (background is, that I have a daughter and she's loving pink). There are a lot of girlie-clothes out there that have some kind of PINK camouflage.
I wondered, if this would be looking somewhat funny, and said, yes, I could paint it pink.
My wife immediately intercepted and told me, that it really just was a joke.
But the more I think about having a PINK Pan(th)zer, the more I like the idea. But I'm not really sure yet.
Any comments?
Please let me know what you think. I know it sounds strange, but.....
Thanks a lot, The German Guy

Last year I let my daughter choose our next tank, she picked the Panther. I then asked her if she wanted to paint it pink camo, she said no! I was hoping to hone my painting skills!

My daughter has managed to get me to part with one of my HL Tigers - the green camo job I was not keen on. She is currently doing a model Hawker Hurricane for the fun section of a local modelling competition in two tone pink camo. I suspect the next time I see the Tiger it will have suffered a similar fate, as like your daughter she is into pink [:'(] - at least in a battle I will see hers long before she spots my one

Just outside of Berlin, on Autobahn 9, right after the wall came down, some "Punkers" painted a WWII russian war memorial, with T34 pink. Now, I think the war memorial should have stayed the original color (and the German government should probably restore it), but it definitely catches your eye driving by.

Thanks everybody for not cursing me just because I brought up the idea. I just have been to walmart, and the only pink color I could find was acrylic paint which you have to brush on. Does anybody have an idea on where to get pink out of spray cans. I really would like to do a good paint job, allthough it's pink.
Thanks again, I really appreciate your comments.

TRy Some craft stores Like Benfranklin AC morre or Hobby lobby. They should have something close if not you could always go with Neon pink and use a backer on it to make it more solid.
