Default Sticky Century 21 fabric

I have a 7 year old Mister Mulligan that is covered in Century 21 fabric that the finish has now become sticky? Anyone else had this happen? If so, have you been successful in getting it "un-sticky"? I was thinking about cleaning it real well and then putting coat of wax on it? Suggestions? Thanks!

Default sticky

Yes but not real sticky. I had luck using straight denatured alcohol in a spray bottle and a lint free cloth. One to clean then one to "dry wipe". Just for grins I then applied some automotive paste wax (Mother's) and that helped. The wax didn't last too long but it looked good. Since then, I got in the habit of cleaning with the alcohol after flying. Never had the sticky problem again. I decided the wax method for me was not worth the effort.

My experience - your mileage may vary.

Dan
