nevermind guys I think I found one awnser to my problem not real sure but I know I didn't do this

The tires have chevron paddles that form rows of arrows. When installing the tires, make sure that the chevron paddles (arrows) point to the front of the truck. If the tire(s) are installed backwards, the truck will feel erratic and will be hard to control

would this also cause the ballooning?

no. the balloning is simply caused by the centrifugal force pulling the outside of the tire away from the rim. the soloution:

beleive me, it works great. your tires dont ballon at all after you do this.

add thicker diff fluid in the front diff will eliminate that.

Taping helps

I dont think thicker diff fluid has anything to do with balooning tires. [8D]

Sure it could. Anything you do to slow a vehhicle down will reduce balloning.

Why slow it down. Taping is your best bet. Screw reducing speed.

I didn't say that you should slow it down. I just said that slower speeds do reduce balooning and adding thicker diff oil does slow the truck down - if infinitesimally. It was mostly a joke...

As for taping the tires, that's only easy if you're doing it to new tires and rims. The whole getting old tires off the rim, cleaning, taping and regluing thing is a PITA.

My brother has a Losi Muggy and his tires ballooned like crazy. He changed his fluid and now it doesn't do it nearly as much.

Changing the diff lube makes no sence at all to me to combat tire balloning .

Unless it was done in a way that made the truck slower.Or the diff was packed with grease and that made it a little bit posi, And maybe that would help when one wheel wants to baloon when you are turing at speeds and one of the front wheels gets light on you and baloons. But it just seems unlikely to me that the diff lube would do jack for tire balooning.

I will remember the tire taping and will be doing that from now on.

Even if it did make it positrac more wich is what the stock diffs do, then it would still spin that tire easyer. Do not chainge diff fluid. Tape your tires.

Taping tires helps a bunch. It results in better traction too and it's well worth the effort.

My brother changed the front, center, and rear diff fluid with whatever it is they are talking about on the Losi forum. I don't know how it works, but they all say it does.
