Yellow charger
Hi!
Do you know what are the knobs on the DF yellow charger?
I've moved them and I can't remember it's original position.
The left one only moves a bit. (Can it be for the Vout for the transmitter charge? I don't know)
The right one has 4 positions marked by clicks. In the 2 lower positions battery doesn't charge. Can it be the number of cells? Seems to be 1-2-3-4. In the position 1 and 2 doesn't charge because the voltage level in the battery is above 1 or 2 cells even discharged. BUT... If I put it in the higest position... if it means 4 cells... battery can burn or explode!
Please help me with its position.
Thanks!

RE: Yellow charger
Knobs???..Huh?....I don't use the stock charger...but I just dug it out and looked...Mine doesn't have knobs. []
Are you talking about the stock charger?
If not put a meter on it...Ya want it set for 3 cells so should read about 12.6v and (1.3 amps) ..and if the other knob sets the charge for the TX battery you want about .60 ma on it.
Good Luck,
Lacey

RE: Yellow charger
The charger is like the standard with "draganflyer" on it but mine came with 2 knobs.
I asked RcToys for some instructions on how to use it and they answered this:
>Hello,

>There are 4 settings on each knob. The one is stiff as they were originally glued into place.

>The one of the left is the number of the cells, so it should be ONE CLICK FROM THE RIGHT, where as the right dial is milliamps. >Also should be ONE CLICK FROM THE RIGHT. This is looking at the unit with the cord wraparound on the bottom and the output >wires on the top.

Anyway look the pic

RE: Yellow charger
Yes, I'm from Spain, Europe. But only the transformer must be compatible with all voltages/frequencies (here we have 220V/50Hz). The signal the yellow charger gets from the transformer is the same in every country: 18V continuous.
