Can anyone tell me if i can get a standard (mabuchi 540) size motor that runs on 9.6 - 14.4 volts , if so where from , hopefully in the UK but if not, in the universe ????

As far as I know you can run most 540 motors up that fast. the ESC is the limiting factor.

Ok , I wasn`t too sure as i run one with 12 volts when i was a kid, i`m suprised i can remember that long ago, and all the wires melted but i was using speaker wire and not Deans PTI 16 Gauge Wire

The ones with 27 turns will hold up to 12-14 volts
23 turns maybe 10 -12 volts
and so on.and so on.
