but what they forget to mention is when its running right you will need to lower your idle or its going to rev higher and you will have more of a chance to melt the spur gear. good luck

this is not strictly true. because if u have a plastic spur, it will melt and this shows u whether u have a problem but if u have a steel spur u cud end up breaking something more expensive like the diffs.
jus thought id clarify dat.
