Never would. Not much adjustment (There are much better options out there. Keys are weak enough without making them thinner.

It is a lot of money for something that is not likely to last long.

If you want to mess with the timing, you are better off getting an adjustable coil bracket. I believe MHZ makes them. Using an offset key will likely result in a sheared key due to the design of the key...there is less material at the shear line.

First , I use ONE ....
VERY LITTLE improvement in speed/performance UNLESS , you have , or had done , a FULL BLOWN mod to your engine ( and even then , not anything to even think about - think it gave me aprox 400 rpm increase ) . Otherwise , the amount of noted change is miniscule at best .

FLABUM, Rite again.... Hey MATT.... Anyway.
Like MATT said why thin the KEY....make it so you can move the coil...
BUT.. In 2 stroke's top end timing is kinda set where it has to be and advancing it wont do much.
Or it can do too much like BANG
But like in an outboard retard the timing at idle and it will idle slow and with torque.
It aint realy worth messing with the timing.....
