Default questions

Hi i got a dirt cheap pipe from ebay (where i get most of my stuff) i got it because it is light, and i want it to go into my 40" drag boat project ,i would like some help to identify what make it is as the seller had no idea, i took a risk buying it, but as i said i got it dirt cheap, its the one in the first 2 pictures ,(engine without a clutch) I also have a 67mm brass prop, i am unsure what make it is, but was told it was an octura ? would that be ok to use in the 40" boat and using an anti torque strut ?? The other 2 pictures are of the engine and exhaust set up i will use in the cat if i ever get it built .

the first one is aluminium, i would like to find out what it is, and how it will perform on a standard zen 260 pum with a modded 644 walbro , the other one is stainless, heavy and very quiet unlike the ali one

Looks like an Older Irwin nitro pipe but I could be wrong. The steep rear cone will make it more RPM specific but I'm sure it will tune if you take your time.
67mm Prop doesn't tell us much, I would guess it is a 1667 because that is very common, if it is it is a good hydro prop but needs work for a mono or cat. Mostly it needs to be spooned to take the lift out. Very Wild ***** guess though! [8D]

MrMikeG All the prop has got on it is 67 the rest of the numbers look like they have been polished off ? I was told it came off a vee, and my drag boat is a vee so i hope it works ok.
Believe It, the pipe might be a Bonzi quiet pipe by name ? but its not quiet at all [&:]

heres some blury pics of the prop, it might give someone a clue to what it is ???

It is before the 67 but i cant really see if it was numbers or just rough moulding, the prop has been polished and needs polishing some more . i`ll just have to try it in the boat and see what happens,

What size is the hole? If it is 3/16" it could be a X467, it's not a 1667, sorry for mis-leading you. X series props are good V or cat props. I think you will want something bigger though.

MrMikeG, It has a 1/4" hole for the shaft.
martno1fan, No shoehorns needed, yes there is not much room, but enough room for the 260 pum, its not like putting a 28cc weedy engine in and whats the worst that could happen ?? anyway i like diving it could be an octura prop as the strut, and rudder i got it with, are octura.
