Default RE: AFTER A RUN

The first thing I do is open the radio box and disconnect the battery leaving the lid askew to air out, and leaving easy access for recharging the night before I go out again. Next I spray the boat down with "fantastic" spray cleaner, and wipe it off with a soft car polishing type rag - checking for anything loose as I go. Next I remove the flex shaft and wipe it down with a paper towl, doing a close visual inspection for anything that might become a problem. (uneven ware, cracked or frayed wires, etc) Then I grease it up and reinstall it, all ready to go. Lastly I cover the boat with a towl and hang it on the wall. The end! LOL Brian

Jason - [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5651698/tm.htm]take a look at this post[/link]

If your just running in fresh water then the cleaning need not be so thorough. But maintain your electronics and flex cable similarly.
