Yeah that's a good looking boat. I here they are a very good running boat. I will have to get one one day. I almost bought one a few months ago. I just got in to the pocket bike engine and that ended it for the conquest. But one day soon. Cant wait to see it done.

Hi Steve,
It's gelcoat.. I plan on a Full Mod 260 Zenoah from CC Racing with a 105* header and tuned pipe. No clutch as this boat will be strictly race. Looking for speed and handling!! I got it for the rough water days.. Should be in the mid 60 mph range when trimmed properly. Only one engine in this one..LOL
Thanx Guys, I'll try to keep the build post updated... Tom H.

It's tough to keep them organized in my Radio..
I have to # each hull. Check out the little #9 put on the left rear of the hull in the first pic.. LOL
Makes it easier..
Now to get to work on my other Cat I'm building...

Tom,

Boat looks great. I'm building the same hull with Steve (Ultimate48) I have a pro mod bh hanson. I wanted to use a bh pipe out the transom. Al from BH has been waiting on the header for a while and doesn't know if his supplier will ever get it to him. What is the spec of your pipe and header and who makes them? At this time I'm done sourcing the parts build to start soon.

I think it's an O'neill brothers pipe and 100 degree header.

I'm probably wrong.

Bd323,
The header is a steel 105* from "Need for Speed" Hobbies. The Pipe I bought from my local Hobby Shop. Hanson Look a-like.
I might change the rudder bracket to a shorter one, but the boat is running on rails now...
GPS'd at over 56mph today and I Need to still break in the engine and get the right prop on it. You'll like the hull, Very stable..

Well at least I was right about being wrong!

Is the conquest the same hull as an avenger? Just a different deck and hatch?

I'm thinking of doing an avenger next.
