Default Super Skybolt ARF Weak points?

Hello! I am assembling an ARF Skybolt and would like to know if there are any weak points that should be taken care of as I am putting it together? I am using an OS 91fs for power. You guys with some flying time on yours should have had something come up by now if there is a weak point. Thanks for any and all input. Jeff

i have put one together, and have been in modeling since '62.........both Free Flight competition and RC.
this bird inspired me to get back into modeling after a 15 year layoff. i also read this review,
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=538651
and have talked to Rich via email to the point where i think i drove him nuts......LOL
i followed each step to the point of control horn layout and all has gone together as outlined with the exception of the center struts, but this is detailed in Rich's review.
he has not found one weak point in this bird, and from my experience as a Free Flighter and my Pylon racing days, i can't see where GP overlooked anything. this is one exceptional bird and i can't wait for the weather to clear so i can put it through the loops.

the only problem i had (and i bought 3 of these things) was the cowls............in all three kits the cowls had some cracks in them due to the motor mts. and hardware being stuffed inside the cowls for packing.........seems this stuff bangs around to cause small cracks in the gel coat. Hobby services has replaced all 3 cowls though so it's no biggie.

I've never seen a stronger ARF than a Super Skybolt. Mine is about a year old. I fly the *$#@* out of mine doing lots of violent snaps, rolls, spins and loops and nothing has ever failed or even come loose.

Weak points?

The landing gear is a bit short. Choice of prop diameters is limited because of that.

That's about the only thing I've noticed about mine. That little sucker has shown no weak points. None.

I'd say the only weak point is maybe the pilot
