Picco .26 outlaw with revo 3.3
I recently came into a used revo in need of an engine. I just bought a new picco .26 outlaw pull start (can't wait till it arives!). I know very little about nitro trucks (mostly into airplanes). What else will I need to install this in a stock revo 3.3 ? Is this a good engine for this truck? I also ordered a center diff and rear brake. Do engines come with the wedge piece you need? - Can I use the stock flywheel/clutch? - Hope I'm not in over my head! Thanks for all the help - I really appreciate it and sorry for all the questions

I am not sure if you need a Big Block conversion but you might. I know the .26 MAX dosen't need a BB converison, all you need is a ofna mount. I am pretty sure that the Picco .26 Outlaw is discontuned so it's gonna be a pain to find a part for that thing. In my honest opion, cancel the order and order a more up to date engine like a TM/Picco .26 MAX or something along those lines. Hope this helped.

Well money is tight and I got it for $100 so I'm going to try and find a way to make it work. Hopefully someone here will be able to guide me a little on what I'll need

I am prety positive man that you will need a BB conversion and a decent conversion will run you about 50-60 bucks plus shipping. I also pretty sure you have to run a BB header/pipe. In the end,(If what I am sure of is true) you will be better off buying a Picco .26 MAX. Heck, the O.S 18TM is a direct drop in. All you need is the engine and you are good. Swap the flywheel from your old 3.3 and you are good. www.towerhobbies.com has them for 150.

I hear ya man. Well I was looking for big horsepower and I figured if I end up spending $170 thats pretty good for 2.7hp. too late now anyway..
So will any BB conversion kit work? Same question about the pipe/header. Thanks.

btw - you can't buy a pico .26 maxx anywhere right now. I checked about fifty places and every single one said the are on backorder. Even some websites that showed them for sale told me they were out when I called them.
