Default Vinegar epoxy cleanup

Anyone else out there use vinegar for "un-cured" epoxy cleanup? The standard version of grocery store white distilled vinegar has worked for me for many years. I use denatured alcohol to thin epoxy for brush applying, but wipe up and clean my hands with vinegar. Very low cost too!

I guess I will try that next time. Never thought about it.! Is it good to have to soak your brush or spatula in?

I never tried it for soaking a brush in,... Only for cleanup. I think the epoxy would set up in the vinegar anyhow, since it is a chemical reaction. However, if you spill epoxy on your favorite shirt, rub lots of vinegar into the area and then immediately follow up with a good soap.

Seems like this would make for some very smelly hands.

The only problem with that is the lingering smell!

You're supposed to WASH your hands afterward!!

The "lingering" smell is soon gone, and breathing it does not constitute a health hazard.
