METAL COVERED PLANES
My eyes are red from reading and reading. but still no answer. HOW ARE YOU GUYS INSTALLING THE RX IN METAL COVERED PLANES??? that toy-like antenna whiping about on top of the plane is not an option. do the new 2.4 radios with those short antennas need to stick out past the metal skin? or will it work inside?????

Sounds like Mark Taylor's F100 was flite metaled. It didn't seem to give him a problem.

2.4 inside, no issues if installed as per the instructions.

RE: METAL COVERED PLANES
It has been found a vertical whip antenna on the outside would be the best bet.
