Default Drift Cars??

I was just wondering do RC drift cars use diffs or not??

Yeh, they do, but most drifters choose to lock them, or put such stiff oil in them, that they are effectively locked. It gives more predictable and controllable slides.

yeh i thought so because if you where drifting and using dry diffs when you go to slide one side will basically lock up and the other side would spin, giving just like you said an unpredictible turn. is this how it is?

Yes a dry diff would cause the wheel with the least amount of traction to spin, causing the effect you describe.
