Default Meccano RC Cars

Me and my friends just picked up some Meccano RC cars cause we wanted to re-live the good ol' days. We got home and realized that all the cars are on the same frequency and there are no channels to change. How could we mod this so that we can get 4 cars running on one track? Any ideas would be really great as I am unsure where to begin.

y dont u take it 2 ur local hobby shop and ask them to change your frequencies. After thyve done laughing at your toy cars, they might change them if they can. Or u can just solder a crystal to the circuit board, i dunno where tho coz i cant c ur thing.

alexx, that was a bit harsh, learn to spell. do you even know what you are talking about? what are you on about with "Or u can just solder a crystal to the circuit board". it is not that simple. to change a frequency on a non xtalised (i.e. removable xtal) you need to "tweek" the circuit board for it to work.

does it have a removable crytal or is it on a fixed frequency?

ok, but the rest of the system would have been designed for that frequency and "tuned" in to it
