Just got a Trex 450sa
Is there anything I should look for in this heli? Any weak points?
Routing the servo and gyro wires has proven to be a nightmare. So has adjusting the rudder servo, I ended up mounting it upside down so it wouldn't bind. I also noticed that this thing is noisy as heck!! Is this a consequence of size? I've adjusted the gear mesh to no end and it's either not as noisy or noisier. Guess Im just used to the way my AxeCP sounded (which was quiet enough to hear the blades cutting through the air).
Got it with an Align BL motor and matching speed control. An EFlight dual mode HH gyro. Im using the radio that came with my AxeCP and a reciver that I happened to have laying around. I'll get a better radio and receiver as soon as money allows but this set-up works fine for now.

T-Rexes are pretty noisy. The newest style (SE V2) main gears are quieter, and you can use non-Align pinions which help too (Thunder Tiger from a Mini-Titan, or Mikado, or Ikarus pinions all work).
