Giant Scale Fuel tank size?
I am building my first Giant scale plane and need to know what size fuel tank to put in it? Its a zeroli SBD with G-62 in it.

I have the G-62 in a couple planes right now. They are aerobatic planes.
24oz will last about 35-40 minutes if your not hard on the throttle all the time. I can fly 2 flights 15 minutes each doing general aerobatics and IMAC routines. Still got about 3oz in the tank when I land.
It seams to me that most warbirds are flown over 1/2 throttle for most of the flight. Probably even 5/8 or 3/4 throttle. At those RPM, I'd expect a 24oz tank to be just right for a solid 20 minutes with room to go around a couple times if you screw up the approach.

My Ziroli Corsair with the G-62 and 22-10 prop used 2.4 oz per minute. Full throttle excep landing and down lines. I flew 8 -10 minutes then called for a landing. 32 oz tank. 13 years of flying on this plane . Log entry and check lists for every flight..including fuel consumption.
