OKAY OKAY
so when i first got my t-maxx i was an idiot. It wouldn't turn over because it was getting stuck at TDC, it was just too cold to start and run properly. So what did we do? we, being the idiots we are, took out the glow plug, took a chopstick and beat down the piston. Now, if you think about it, this was really stupid. At TDC, the con rod is straight up and down and resists wanting to go down.
My current problem is that my t-maxx hates to idle once it warms up and when it dies you can see whitish smoke coming out of somewhere on the engine. Could this have caused it? probably not, but it is an entertaining story, n'est pas.

RE: OKAY OKAY
oh, and another funny story. so today i was testing my fuel system for leaks. I took off the line from the exhaust line and blew into it. I had already taken off the carburetor line though, so residual nitro SPRAYED INTO MY FACE! MAN that stuff burns when it gets in your nose. Also, some got into my eye, so i had to go and flush it out with water in the bathroom!
wow, that was idiotic of me. Seriously, i don't know what i was thinking, i'll never do that again! anyway, back on topic, what is causing this problem with the smoke and dying and such?

RE: OKAY OKAY
A long time ago, I was removing fuel from my old plane's fuel tank the old fashioned way, siphoning, when I got a huge dose of nitro in my mouth... you think it's bad in the nose??? It don't taste great either!! HAHAHA
