TMPRO Extra 260 Profile
Last week I got in a new airplane from TMPRO. It is the Profile model of a Extra 260 with winglets. TMPRO is the same company that made the awesome Katana 46 and 70 size profiles.
I left for the lake to go camping last Monday and decided to bring the model with me to build. It only took me three days to put it together. Probably would have only took a day to build it if I built the plane at home. As this week goes on I will post photos of the progress from last week. The plane is now ready to fly. I am waiting for great weather to test fly her. So keep coming back for updates!
Opening the box I notice everything was packaged VERY well. Nothing was damaged. I think the nicest thing about this ARF is it comes with two things that many profiles dont come with. One are winglets (or sfgs) The other nice thing is Extensions to fit this airplane. This is very nice because you dont have to go out and buy them or make your own.

RE: TMPRO Extra 260 Profile
The color scheme of this model is excellant. I believe it should really show up in the sky. The wings are very nice. They are held on the body by a screw that you just tighten with your fingers and it holds it well. To put the screw in you just take off one of the hatches from the wing.
First off I had to cut the holes for the wing servos and hatches. Make sure you have a sharp hobby knife to do this! After that I installed the servos in each wing. These servos were new in the box on the shelf in my shop so I decided to use them. They are Hitec HS635HB servos. Each servo went it easily. After installing the servos I installed each aileron. Then I used the hardware proviced to link the servo up with the aileron. Will let the pictures explain it below.
