Default Black oil around bottom of engine?

I saw black oil aroud my engine. Could it be a leak somewhere?

that means your running to rich most likely, it black sooty oil? or smooth? does it look like it has particles in it? if it has nothing in it it's fine you you just need to lean the engine a little.

^^^ Im thinking Im running too rich too but if I am running too rich wouldnt the black oil comes out of the exhaust instead?

It's normal, unless it is extremely excessive ammounts. My engines always have a small ammount of oil that accumulates all over them after running for a while, and that oil attracts dirt and turns black or dark brown. Unless your engine isn't running right or it is a ton of oil, it is nothing to worry about. These engines always have a small ammount of oil seaping out of the front bearing, so it will always build up. Also, if you use after-run oil, it will tend to drip out while being stored.

Just give it a good blasting with some Buggy Blast or a similar product every now and again.

can you use an air compressor to blow the crap out then lube it ack up? or no?
