New to Revos,questions...
I am considering purchasing a revo,
I will not be using the stock engine or electronics.
The engine will be replaced with a OS .21 VG-X,which my questions is will this fit with the big block kit?
Also what else do I need?
I also need suggestions on Gearing.
But do I need things likecenter diff, forward only, rear brake kit?
Any help would be great!

If you plan on purchasing a revo, just get a roller if you absolutly know your changing out almost everything.Check up here in buy nd seel forums for a roller. It would be a lot easier then spending all that money on a new one when your swapping out so much stuff. Foc is the easiest way to loose weight nd gain acceloration. For the BB kit get a new era models kit. The traxxas one will have the starter hit the rear a-arm.(pull start, ez-start, roto, etc..) I'm not sure about O.S. comin out with a strait drop in .21 so you might wanna wait for that to come out nd save money on a BB kit. Thats like $50 you can use twoards hop-ups. Gearing you will want to gear it for more top end so it wont wheelie uncontrolably. Check out what steve slaydin did to make his revo race worthy.

I have the OS .21 allready from my older crt,but I could use the Sirio with the Revo instead which may be a better choice once I gear it correctly.
Also I want to run a single servo, what do I need for that?

qoncepts is the third BB mount option. Said to be the best because of its durability & will work with nearly every BB. Down side is its bump start only with this mount.

True...I'm not saying it can't be done. All depends on what engine and how much modification you are willing to do. Generally, most BB blocks are longer than say a midblock like the Picco 26 Max. If you got a pic showing a BB, roto, qoconcept setup, I'd love to see it.
