I just bought the Dynamite Micro failsafe. Its tiny and fits perfectly in the receiver box.

I buy the least expensive one I can find. The last one I bought was the Duratrax one, $15 or $16 I think. It's done a nice job. No glitching and it works when it's susposed to.

well here it is, to me it is pimped but to most of you guys it wouldn't be. i got the os.18tm motor, trinity pipe, dyed rpm a-arms, stripped the frame and painted it yellow, aluminum pulshrods, FOC, imex swamp dawg tires with nevada chrome rims, i have 2 hitec 645 mg servo's one for steering and one for throttle brake, have pullstart on dumped ez start, motorsaver airfilter, and last but not least have a proline f-350 body. and i think i am gonna go with the ofna just cause i hear it is what ppl use most and never heard of any complaints. oh and does the ofna fit inside the receiver box?

keeps the rc car/truck from running out of control in the event it looses radio contact with the transmitter(TX).

not really a kill switch in the event your batteries die or you go out of range or what happened to me one time i didn't have my antenna up and it will runaway the failsafe applies the brakes instead of applying throttle. and from the sounds of it i cna't go wrong wiht any of them

i don't think it is so much that there is anything wrong with them it is just that it is bigger and add's weight. there is more to go wrong with it cause there is more electronics involved and well you gotta have your body strategically cut or have it mounted right so you can see the temp with the body on.

in addition to the failsafe you should always run a good strong throttle return spring...you can't go worng with good old mechanical force..

I use the duratrax and it has helped me out twice. I installed it after i had the chance to experience a 50mph run away truck. That was a scary moment!!!
