Default ez start

my ezstart doesnt work anymore. i replaced the glow plug, made sure it was grounded right, and chraged my batery. i took of the blue wire on the glow plug and used my glow plug ignitor, and it started right up. what does this mean?

what do i need to do to make it a pull start?

also, do you guys use rechargeable batteries or regular aa in your tmaxx?

Meh, you can get a stronger ez start plug from dynamite or just use a ignitor which is easier.

Buy a pullstart, take your engine out, take the four screws on the backplate of your engine and it should pop right out. Remove all the excess EZstart wires.

Sounds like the blue wire has an open (break in it). Find and fix the break or just keep using the glow plug ignitor. If you do the latter the ezstart battery will hold it charge longer.

Go with the roto start. It gets the weight off the truck and makes it look a lot cleaner.

Once its running just set it down. Will it not stay running for a tank of fuel?

If it doesnt stay running you dont want a pull start. You need to tune it right to get the motor to stay running. Thats your first problem.
