Default leaking diff?

i think i have a leak in the front differential of my revo....pic explains....

...now what am i supposed to do? ive had this for a couple weeks now...i just thought about it today that it might be a leak....but for now, i dont see any problems when driving around. atleast i dont feel any noticeable performance drop or anything... is it safe to keep it like this? would it damage other parts if i dont fix it?
thanks

Mine were leaking like crazy. I ripped the truck apart and found that something had worked it's way into the inner diff cover and mangled the diff. on the rear it was just a seal you they sell a diff rebuild kit for like $5 it comes with the 3 seals a diff case and a shim. It should take you about 1/2 hour all said and done.

I have looked and most of the after market aluminum diff cases still require you to buy the traxxas stuff for the gaskets.

So are we saying the aluminum cases don't give anything extra. I am also assuming the aluminum cases are heavier and are no good for racing, correct?

Probably heavier and you still have to get seals. They are most likely stronger though.

Mine was completely empty on the front and it had probably been that way for 6-7 tanks and everything seemed fine so I would not worry about it unless you hear metal on metal grinding sounds.
