Default Byron's Cap 21

I have an old Byron's Cap 21 kit I'm finally thinking about starting.
This is the 80" foam fuse and wing type kit I'm hesitant about the foam fuse's ability to take full snaping manuvers and the weight that glass cloth reinforcing will add. Byron's suggests low temp film covering to control weight. Has anyone had any experience with this model as far as flying characteristics and durability?

Thanks,
Chris
