Default Opinions on a finish

Hi

I am recovering my CG Super Chipmunk and after seeing some of the great covering jobs posted here (flames, flags 7 Ups etc) I am wondering if a an unusual scheme like one of these would work on a Super Chipmunk or if it would look kitsch ??

I like the flame or "peeling surface" schemes - (our gaudy "New South African" flag wont look good on a plane)

What do you think ??

Thanks
Tim

En wat is verkeerd met die SA flag ??

Saw a picture of a jet done with the SA flag colours - nothing special - as you say too gaudy! What about a running paint colour scheme - similar to the old "paint splatt" stickers we used to get !!?

I have seen Super Chipmunks, both full size and models, done up in red-white-and-blue Pepsi Cola colors and markings. That sure is a cool color scheme
