RE: home made parts
Oh boy. I think I spend to much time in the garage. This is just for my Revo 3.3
- Changed the battery configuration to put under the chassis and made a bracket to hold it there
- Made sway bars front and rear
- Made stand offs to hold a MBX5T tank to the front
- Made a receiver bracket out off a piece taken from the original reciever box
- Made special bolts to get rid of the slop in my OFNA adapters
- Made carbon fiber with aluminum outer shell pushrods and turnbuckles
- Made rear skid plate protector
- Made a bump box
- Made a Tekno style throttle bellcrank that works inside the roll bar
- Made a steel brace to eliminate chassis flex under braking
- Made stand offs to put my throttle servo up front
- Made a set up station
- Reinforced the stock steering arm to convert to single steering servo
I think that's it for this truck

The rear skid plate on Revos are well known for wearing out quickly and break. Especially if you play on rough surfaces. So I made the protector to keep from replacing the skid plate to often. Skid plate set... 8 bucks. Home made skid protector... 40 cents.
