LA Jets, 3/29-3/30, Get Your Waiver
Hello Everyone,
LA Jets will be held on March 29th and 30th. It is at Woodley Park in the Sepulveda Basin, in Van Nuys, CA.
THe map is located under "Field Information" at www.valleyflyers.com.
On March 28th (Friday before the event) we will be running the "“Flight Demonstration Turbine Waiver” Program for Fixed Wing Aircraft".
This program allows you to get a 60 day provisional waiver. You can fly at any AMA event with this provisional waiver, including LA jets, for 60 days!
We will also have all of the other paperwork at the meet that you can fill out. With this paperwork and the provisional sign off, you have everything you need to submit for your regular permanent waiver.
We will have JR 10X TXs and Futaba 9ZAP buddy box equipment. Anything other than these radios I would suggest bringing your own equipment.
If possible PM me ahead of time in case we have a lot of people that want to do this. We have 2 signed up right now, I figure we can do maybe 3 more, but we are flexible.
