Monster Truck Kit
I am interested in purchasing a 1/8 or 1/10 Electric Monster truck kit, no RTR's. If you know of any, please let me know. Thanks.

RE: Monster Truck Kit
Depends on what you want to do.....off the top of my head.....hardly anything Nitro comes in kit form......in fact, I don't know of one that is kit form....unless someone out there can tell me what that is? As for electric, your best bet is going to be Tamiya/Kyosho Brand products. Although, I must admit, Tamiya is starting to "swing" towards being RTR as well with their "Xpert Built Series".....so you best hurry before the kits are gone?!
I can see why they are popular.....as years ago, as a kid......I had time on my hands. But now.....I admit, I wanna drive and play. The "fixing, repair" part comes easy for me. However, I'd like to get kits for my boys when they get old enough to try it on their own, too.
Good luck and hopefully this helps you.

The XTM mammoth st pro is a pretty nice kit as well as the HPI savage 4.6 ss.. They are both about the same price $400-$450..

RE: Monster Truck Kit
Get a Tamiya TXT-1 or a Clodbuster. I prefer the TXT (I love shafties) but they are both electric MT kits. The TXT on 14 cells with some s-600s (cheap motors) really flies.

RE: Monster Truck Kit
Tamiya also has a f350 high lift kit that is similar to the old bruiser in 1/10 scale
