To get tire off the rim i simply take the tire, rim and all and stick it in the oven for 350 degrees for 20 minutes and take them out and the tire will peal off clean. Ive dont it before and it works like a charm

you can bake or boil them, boiling them can mess up chrome finish though. but both methods work

my wife would kill me if i put tires in the oven, then afterwards i have to get rid of the smell inside the house and inside the oven.

Boiling one tire for 20 minutes can be tideous as well though[&:]

Boiling kinda worked for me ...but not 100% it got about 80% of it off,the rest I had to cut ,and hassle with.
I'll try the bake method next.

I have numerous sets of wheels that have seen at least 3 sets of tires and boiling all ways worked great. If you boil them for about 15 minutes and it does not come all the way off boil them a little more and they will. All you need to do is crystallize the CA glue.

Bring a big pot of water to a rolling boil. Toss a tire in there.....weigh it down with something to keep it completely submerged.....set a timer for 30 minutes......remove the tire from the water after the 30 minutes.......the rubber will peel right off the rim........just be careful, as it is scalding hot. I do mine this way and it works great.[8D]

Those pins are cool in a retro type of way, but they suck on the street. They'll be toast after a days worth of running. You've been warned.[8D]

Yeah, we all say we won't use them on the street but end up doing it anyways. I'm guilty of doing it.[8D]

They are awesome though.......great grip in the dirt and in the grass they stick like glue. They're cool because they remind me of the rear tires used on the old Hornet and Frog.[8D]

Pro Line and Axial are about it.....I can't think of anyone else that sells 40s. Between the two, they don't offer enough variety?[&:][8D]
