Many of the top level radios are adjustable, left or right. The futaba 3pks is a fantastic radio which has this adjustment, but there are several others (airtronics M11 for example).

Thanks for the help, i looked at the Futaba 3Pk but the price is a little steep for just a begginer. THis is actually for my father. The 3pk is well over 300$ and we were wonderign if there was a pistal grip for lefties that might be around 100$ range. Or what is the best deal out there for lefties. Thanks

I'm left handed, but I've always done some things with my right hand. For example, one of those things is using the mouse on a computer on the right side, like a right-handed person normally would. Another of those things is R/C Controllers, I've always used them the same way right-handed people do, and I feel perfectly comfortable. Maybe you should try a normal controller first, to see how you like it? It might save you some money.

Check Ebay for models like Hitec Lynx 3D or Airtronics M11. You can get a good used system for under $100.
