ok, incase of a crash, i some times take a harth brush and shovel to scoop up the main peices , then also a metal detector comes in handy just to finish off the clean up, to make sure the feild is left tidy and all the heli parts are bought home for rebuild,

Helis don't crash...they flop around on the ground and beat themselves to death.

RE: must have at the helicopter field for clean ups
hi all
i was told at the start of the thread to post a picture, here is a small crash the heli stayed on its skids, i didn't need the metal detector this day as it only fell from 10m when the battery failed, this one cost me a new bare bones though, you can't see it in the picture but the chasi is broken through the middle and the canopy has shattered like glass
i have had others worse but have been in to much shock to take pictures, LOL,
