Default Superstar EP battery or ESC problems.

When I fly, the motor cuts after about 30 seconds. I can put the throttle at about 50% and it will run another couple seconds before cutting again. Is this because my battery isn't charger properly ? I use an old Hobbico charger that has no 6-7 cells switch. Does by battery HAVE to be charged on a 7-cell charger or a 6-cell charger will do. When I charge it it stays cold, I remember back in the day I ran my RC buggies the battery would get warm as it charged..

Ok one thing at a time then.. how do ESC's work normally ? When the power is too low they cut the motor to leave enough power for the servos to keep working until you land ?

yes, every cell in the pack adds to the voltage... and each cell's voltage goes from 0v totally flat to like 1.2v or something fully charged, so .... unless your battery charger is autosensing the cell count in your pack, it will hit the 6-cell voltage with your 7-cell pack and then stop charging....
