One AWESOME fun fly.

You missed pilot skills that could be compared to only the best freestyle & TOC pilots.

The opportunity and the encouragement to fly you plane, on its rudder, torque rolling down the runway, doing tail taps, with 4 other planes doing the same thing RIGHT NEXT to your plane, with full confidence that the other pilot knew what they were doing. And the chance to fly OPP (Other People's Planes) in the exact way.

You missed a raffle that gave away close to $2000.00 worth of stuff away. Airplanes, motors, kits, ARF's, landing gear, glue, fuel, tools, building stuff, hats, Hobby Shop CA$H and lots of other stuff.

I didn't have a camera or take a single picture, however I have enough great stories about people, planes, flights and other stuff to start 50 new threads.

So, for those of you who flew or attended the Houston Pro Bro 2003, you tell of something, the unfortunate.............missed. Post a memorable story or even better, a pic of your experience or what you liked best.

Thanks to all that attended, its YOU that makes this so much fun.

Don't worry, the plans for the Houston Pro Bro 2004 Profile and 3D Hoverfest, are already in the works.

YNOT, you guys put on a great event. When you plan for nexts years event look at the moon phase. Think there may be some more people wanting to try hovering over the runway in the darkness.

We had a blast ! Hovering and 3Ding all day long ! Participation was great, and planes all over the place. Some midair between some fliers, but nothing that can't be repaired (besides the VTOL from Morris which went in at full throttle and was carried out in a black garbage bag).

We had a great time in NC, thanks to the RC Wringers and Pinhead this past weekend, despite the rain. I guess we had a Fly-In in the spirt of the 1st Pro Bro Fly-In in Memphis - WET <GRIN>. Despite the rain, we had a pretty good turn out. Pinhead has posted some pics with some movies to come (I think). I had a great time too. Thanks go out to everyone who had a hand in putting on the event . Thanks go out to Tony for some weight's for my plane , Ulf who lent me some glue to glue the weight's on with, anther man gave some weight's i cant remember his name off hand but thanks. AND special thanks to DEBBIE at MORRIS hobbies for donating the TOP CAP back to the club to raffle off again. Thanks to all the hobbies shops and others that donated the prizes.

Driving back the last 300 miles today I had a lot of time to think things over. I'm p o'ed. Do any of you realize how much money you are going to make me spend over the next year getting ready for the #2 flyin. I figure conservatively at least 5 or 6 planes and untold amounts of fuel. Who do I sue. Hold it, i would do that anyway, just now I'll be practicing a different type flying. Dang it, its dark outside, gotta get started.

Had an awesome time at the ProBro event!!! Thanks Ulf and Tony for all the effort you put out.... I think I went thru 2 gallon's of fuel over the weekend.... The PBF combat was great.. But it was my pbf that bit the dust... has multiple laserations from TailSpnr's prop!!! and the engine mount is broke along with the battery that got nailed.... Ohh well... It was soo fun, it was worth it!!
