So I got tired of just drifting around the TT-01, and got some tires with thread.

The problem is, the set of tires came with a set of foam, what do I do with them? I tried the obvious and tried to stuff them in the rubber tire, than mount the rims, but there are tooooo much foam to fit them in. Can't I just leave the foam out?

The stock tire (smooth) that came with the TT-01 didn't have foam. I want to use the new set of tires on asphalt. (I also bought some CA Thin glue, don't know if I should use them...)

Please advise or point me at the right direction! TIA!

Leaving the foam out will cause the tires to wear out much quicker and will affect handling. I usually put the foam in the tire and slide it over the wheel. It's not always easy but with a little effort it can definitely be done.

defo worth it m8 dont glue those tyres til you have some in there helps balance the ride out better and like said saves tyre wear too

Trim the foam to fit. A little at a time so you don't trim to much, you want it to fit fairly snug, but not too much that it will bunch up in the tire and make it lopsided.

I DID IT ! [>:] I folded up the foams like pictured and squeezed them into the tire. The foam was in a cut strip form not a ring but it worked fine. Now if I can just neatly glue the tires on the rim...
