Did I buy the wrong pinion
I bought a Pinion that was advertised to go on an RC18T
I have a Stampede with a 540 motor will it fit?

If that's a stock motor, then you're probably out of luck. The motor that I have in my mini has a 1/8 shaft, so pinions are interchangeable.

the Motor is a Method R which
the pinions shaft is

Shaft Diameter: 1/8" (3mm)
Mounting hole diameter: 2mm
