hey guys, i was just wondering, i have a nitro 4 tech (2.5) and a revo (2.5/with 3,3 engine) i dont care about the 4 tech, but the engine on my revo is shot. can i put the engine of my 4 tech into my revo????????????? can it be easily done?????

yep, all you need to do is take the engine out of the 4 tec, take the clutch bell off of the 3.3 and put it on the 2.5 out of the 4 tec and put the 2.5 in the revo, you will loose a lot of power though.

I don't see why not the only things you would have to swap would be the flywheel, clutch and clutch bell and possibly the carb( if they look like they are the same leave it on I am not sure on the carb set up if it is a slide carb on the 4 tec or not )... other than that it is the same motor

i dont really care about power. as long as it runs. all my revo needs is a new piston sleeve, and its good to go. i would much rather just sell both of them

yeah, the hobby has died for me. for both i would only want about 275. im thinking about putting them on ebay... maybe soon
