I am using the Jet 1A retracts / legs on Scorpion. They are the Harpoon set. The only thing you need to do is to glue a 12mm plywood spacer to the main gear mounting plates to reduce the depth of the retract mount and cut out the wheel / leg opening to suit the rake of the leg.
Sandor, your memory is failing.

I do not know the answer to that Stephane. I don't think there is much difference. I would suggest you make a card template using the Jet 1A leg and wheel and then make the cut outs in the Scorpion fuselage . All I did was to make the cut out for the retract, fit the retract and leg / wheel, raise the gear and then draw round the wheel with a marker pen. I then cut out the opening and finished it with a Dremel sanding drum.
Best regards

Thanks for prompt answer with photo John !
I understood that new Scorpion kits have the legs hole pre-cutout on the fuselage, so I need to check if the Jet-1A offset is approx. the same than AD original legs.
Best regards.

I have just downloaded the template for the wheel cut out from the AD website and checked it against my own model. Assuming the new models have the same cut out you would have to increase the wheel cut out to the front as the rear offset on the Behotec legs looks to be about 8-10mm more than the Jet 1A legs. Also , because of the position of the former in front of the gear position the biggest wheel you can use with the Jet 1A legs is about 70mm, this is not a problem as my Scorpion has 66mm Intairco main wheels and flies ok from grass. Hope this helps.
