Quick question on T-Maxx air screw...
Hey guy's,
I put a new RDLogics Twin pipe on my truck and I lost second gear. The pipe really seems to help the power through first gear but as soon as it should shift it dies. I have seen the Nitro-Tune video on youtube and I would like to know if there is a good general place to start with the air screw. Like 1 1/2 turns out from all the way in...etc... It's a 2.5 if that helps. I'm pretty sure its just an air mixture problem as I did not touch anything other than the pipe and some new RPM Control Arms.

im not sure what u mean by air screw...
the factory settings for the 2.5 are
HSN-4 turns out
LSN-2 1/2 or so...or flush with the sides
idle should be a 1mm or 2mm gap when u take off the air filter and look into the carb.

I ran the same pipe with my 2.5, and now with my picco. I had to adjust the mixture to get the tranny to shift. Seems to like it a little leaner than with the stock pipe. When I used this pipe with the picco, I had a lot of trouble tuning the motor correctly and came up with a clever solution. I deduced that reduced backpressure was the cause, so I modded the stingers by adding copper crimp sleeves, used to crimp bare ground wires together in electrical boxes. These sleeves are available at the Home Depot by the wire nuts and zip ties. The crimp sleeves fit nicely into the stingers and I drilled and tapped the stingers for setscrews. The sleeves are flared at one end and tapered at the other end. I had to drill them out to fine tune the inside diameter, but the mod works great and there's a noticeable difference in performance, especially at the top end. Try 63 mph runs on pavement with 30% Byron's.

I'm pretty sure it's the HSN Screw... it's the biggest screw that can be adjusted without a screwdriver.
That's was one of my thoughts too nitrorcjunkie... it seems like that pipe has no back pressure at all.
I would love to see a pic of your copper crimp sleeve mod !!! Sounds like a great solution !!!
