Default UP-6 brake valve

I'm putting together a jet for a friend, and he supplied me with a used UP-6 brake valve - with no instructions.

What I need to know is which nipple is the inlet ???

I've done an online search without success.

Any help would be greatly appreciated......

The nipple closest to the rear mounting hole is air in.
