zenoah or what?
Can anyone help me out? I have what I thought to be a zenoah engine but I cant find any name anywhere. It is about the size of a zenoah 35 according to the specs. Can anyone tell me how to tell for sure Thanks Har

It definitely looks like an older Quadra - can't remember when they stopped using the steel prop hubs, but it was "long, long ago". It most likely has points behind the flywheel - a 35 or 40cc - they made both and looked the same.

Yup, that's a Quadra! Canman hit it right on the head.
I'd say mid to late 80's. Big motor back then. Very good for scale stuff. May work for light aerobatics.
You may want to convert it to C&H ignition & loose the points. If there are no points I'd still use the C&H. That engine is going on 20 years old, and the ignition may go at any time. As for the rest of it, If it has not been run lean or gotten too much moisture It will be fine.
Thanks, Scott
