Default Fuji engine

Does anyone have any knowldge of the Fuji ingines in the 32 and 50 cc, I am not looking for a powerhouse. The opitional onboard electric starter is what I am intrested in but as this is going on a twin reliability is critical.

I have the Fuji 50 in a 1/3 scale cub. It is a very reliable engine. The only recomendation I have is to purchase a giant starter, or a conversion unit for a normal starter (it is a belt geared unit that you bolt on your normal starter). It is very difficult to say the least to hand start, you simply cant flip it fast enough for it to spark.

Good luck.

Does the Fuji line have a spring starter option available?

Interesting... My Fuji 50 seems to hand start quite well. It's the latest version with the updated magneto.

I have the earlier fiji 50 and your right you need a big electric starter. B & B makes a spring starter for all the fujis. Mine would start but it some times took a lot of flips. never quit in the air though once running very nice. unfortunately it hit the ground first when my decathlon broke an aileron mount. Now it needs the crank straitened hopfully that will happen soon as I have Great Planes patty wagstaff extra waiting for it.
