Do electric motors need breaking in?
Do electric motors need breaking in? I always thought it was install n run. With a brush change and "true" after a certain amount of runs.

Motors with brushes and commutators benefit from a short break in, it allows the brushes to conform and find their fit with the commutator. Repeat whenever you get new brushes.

+1, if you're blowing enough money to make a e-revo, why not make it brushless?
