G Shark help
Looking for info on an 84" ws G Shark, don't know the mfg. Trying to set it up for a freind, this plane was given to him as is, no documentation. OS BGX engine, Zinger 18x10 prop. The CG is marked in the fuse, so no problems here. What I need is the control throws for the Ailerons, Elevator, & Rudder. Thanks

RE: G Shark help
Hi. Here are the throws for you. I am just finishing up my shark now. I bought several years ago got out of the hobbie now back in. There are two Gsharks, the first version and the MKII, I have the MKII. I will be putting in a G-62. Let me know if you need any more information. I have both instruction manuals for it. The kit is (was) manufactured by "AeroPro", which is no longer in business.
Aileron: 5/8" Up and Down (Increase according to needs)
Elevator: 3/4" Up and Down (Increase according to needs)
Rudder: 1-1/2" Left and Right (Increase according to needs)
CG: 5-1/2" Back from where the wing leading edge meets the fuse.
Wind Incidence: 0 degrees
Stab Incidence: 0 degrees
Motor Thurst: 0 down, 3 degrees or more right.
Hope this helps and let me know how you make out with it. Just be CAREFULL if you have the MKI (first version), I understand they can tip stall easily.

RE: G Shark help
I know I purchased mine back in the late 90's or so. Been out of the hobbie due to work and family stuff but back into it big time now. Since it was about 1/2 completed I figured I would finish it off, coming out nice so far planning on flying this spring. Getting ready to order a YA P47 next week.
