How many amps should I use to charge batteries?
I was wondering what is the maximum amps I can charge that will be safe for my batteries. I have a couple 7.2v 1100mAh bats for my RC18R, I have a couple of regular sized 7.2v 1500's and a 7.2v 3600mAh, and a 1200mAh 6v reciver pack. My charger has three options 1 amp 2 amps or 4 amps.
Thanks,

RE: How many amps should I use to charge batteries?
great question Kent, I just got the Prophet charger because it was cheap and I needed one that did both Ni-Cd and Ni-MH. I was told to do the hump and flat packs at 1 amp. and the stick type for my roto start at 2 or 4 depending on how big they were I have a 1500 I will charge at 2 and the 3300 I will charge at 4. Someone stop me if this is wrong.
