Hi, after trying the cheap route for Li-Pos and having two of them swell up after only few charges I started buying premium and my problems went away. Norm

I second that...After trying some cheap batteris and having swollen packs and others that won't hold a charge I stick with the good quality packs and treat them well. I have some Thunder Power packs that have over 100 flights on them and they are still working fine. I watched a friend of mine try some cheap packs last Sunday in his new P51 and they lost power after less than 2 minutes and he had to ditch his plane as he couldn't make it back to the runway. Did some pretty good damage to the wing and cowl and tore one gear out. If you want to try them on a throw away plane go for it, but be prepared for trouble.

I second the TrueRC packs if you're looking for an inexpensive pack. I have a 6S 4000mAh pack that I use in my Century Swift helicopter and it works great. Much better choice than the Emoli packs I also have used. It only rated 10C continuous but that still means it can deliver 40A, 60A burst. I'm building a 1/5 scale Sig J-3 which will use the same pack so I'll be picking up another 6S 4000mAh. They're currently $105 for this size.

TrueRC now has 15C packs in the 4000ma size. I have a half dozen and am extremely satisfied...You may need to call him, as they are sortta hidden on the web page.....Pat
