Default CP PRO TO A CP+

Has anyone changed the bell-hiller mixer on a cp pro to a standard cp+.If so what parts does it take? A upgrade mixer kit to a pro is available, but I can't find the stock mixer listed as a unit.

I have done that before. It only needs the CP+ blade grips which are about $8. It is a great way to fly the CP pro. I advanced a lot faster on my flying skills doing that then trying to learn with the bell hiller. Then when you are ready to upgrade put the bell hiller system back on.

How does just replacing blade grips remove the mixing component? I looked at it but didn't quite understand before... maybe I should look again...

The bell hiller has two connections to attach to the flybar and swashplate. The CP+ grips have only one connection to connect to the flybar.

Sorry for the blurry middle picture. My camera wouldn't focus on the black parts very well.

I think I get it - so all you have to do is replace blade grips? I'll have to do that this weekend!

The grips don't come with bearings so you will need to pop them out of the CP PRO ones. Then you will need to adjust the grip linkages to make the track correctly.
